Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ITGb5, a member of the integrin family of receptors, plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, including cell adhesion, migration, and signaling. It predominantly acts as a co-receptor for a variety of ligands, facilitating interactions between cells and their extracellular matrix. Research on ITGb5 has gained momentum due to its potential implications in several pathological conditions, including cancer, where aberrant integrin signaling is linked to tumor progression and metastasis. Moreover, ITGb5's involvement in immune responses and tissue repair processes has further stimulated interest in understanding its molecular mechanisms and biological functions. The generation of recombinant ITGb5 proteins is essential to elucidate its structure-function relationships, analyze its interactions with different ligands, and explore its role in signaling pathways. By employing techniques such as protein expression, purification, and characterization, researchers aim to delineate the precise contributions of ITGb5 in both physiological and pathological contexts. This knowledge could pave the way for the development of targeted therapeutic strategies that modulate ITGb5 activity, offering new avenues for treating diseases associated with dysfunctional integrin signaling.
