Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
THP-1 is derived from human monocyte leukemia cells and serves as a crucial model for studying monocyte and macrophage biology. The reconstitution of THP-1 proteins has garnered attention due to their involvement in various immunological processes and disease states. Specifically, THP-1 cells exhibit characteristics similar to primary human monocytes, making them valuable for investigating inflammatory responses, phagocytosis, and cytokine production. Researchers utilize THP-1-derived recombinant proteins to probe the molecular mechanisms underlying immune responses, including responses to pathogens and cancer. Furthermore, these proteins facilitate the understanding of signaling pathways and gene expression in monocytic lineage cells, contributing insights into the pathogenesis of diseases like atherosclerosis, autoimmune disorders, and infections. The study of THP-1 recombinant proteins also plays a crucial role in drug development and testing, allowing for the evaluation of therapeutic agents targeting immune responses. Overall, THP-1 reconstituted proteins represent an essential tool in immunological research, bridging the gap between basic science and clinical applications, thereby enhancing our understanding of human health and disease.
