Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The TRPV3 protein, a member of the transient receptor potential (TRP) channel family, plays a crucial role in various physiological processes, including thermosensation, pain perception, and skin homeostasis. It is primarily expressed in epithelial tissues, particularly in keratinocytes of the skin, where it is activated by warmth, certain chemical agents, and mechanical stimuli. The study of recombinant TRPV3 protein has gained significant attention due to its implications in understanding sensory transduction pathways and potential therapeutic avenues for conditions such as chronic pain, hyperthermia, and skin disorders. Aberrant TRPV3 function has been linked to diseases like atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, and other inflammatory diseases, highlighting the need for detailed investigations into its structure and function. Researchers aim to characterize TRPV3 through various biochemical and biophysical techniques, including protein expression systems, electrophysiology, and crystallography, to elucidate its gating mechanisms and regulatory processes. By generating and studying recombinant TRPV3, scientists can better understand its role in cellular signaling, receptor activation, and the physiological responses to environmental stimuli. This research not only enhances our understanding of TRPV3's biological significance but also opens up potential strategies for drug discovery and the development of therapeutic interventions targeting TRPV3-related pathologies.
