  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

L3MBTL3, a member of the L3MBTL family of proteins, has gained significant attention in recent years due to its role in epigenetic regulation and its involvement in various biological processes. This protein is characterized by multiple MBT (malignant brain tumor) domains, which allow it to interact with methylated histones and thus influence chromatin structure and gene expression. Research has shown that L3MBTL3 is implicated in cellular differentiation, proliferation, and DNA damage response, making it a key player in maintaining cellular homeostasis. Additionally, abnormalities in L3MBTL3 expression have been linked to several types of cancer, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target. As scientists delve deeper into the mechanistic pathways involving L3MBTL3, understanding its exact functions and interactions within the epigenetic landscape could unveil novel strategies for cancer treatment and foster insight into the complexities of gene regulation. Furthermore, leveraging advanced techniques such as CRISPR and proteomics, researchers are aiming to unravel the detailed biological roles of L3MBTL3 in both normal and pathological states, paving the way for innovative approaches in the field of oncology and epigenetics.
