  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

L3MBTL2, or Lethal(3) malignant brain tumor-like protein 2, is a member of the MBT (Malignant Brain Tumor) family of proteins, which are known for their roles in chromatin remodeling and gene regulation. The research into L3MBTL2 has gained momentum due to its implications in various biological processes, including development, differentiation, and cellular signaling. Notably, L3MBTL2 has been implicated in oncogenesis, particularly in the context of certain cancers, where its dysfunctional regulation may contribute to tumorigenesis. Recent studies have focused on understanding the structural characteristics and molecular mechanisms of L3MBTL2, especially its interaction with histone marks and its role in epigenetic regulation. By exploring the potential of L3MBTL2 as a biomarker or therapeutic target, researchers aim to uncover novel insights into cancer biology and develop new treatment strategies. The recombinant expression of L3MBTL2 allows for detailed investigations into its functional properties and interactions, further elucidating its contribution to cellular processes and disease mechanisms. Overall, L3MBTL2 stands out as a significant entity in cancer research, warranting further exploration of its potential clinical relevance.
