稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The research on recombinant HSD11B2 (11β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase type 2) has gained significance in the field of endocrinology due to its crucial role in regulating glucocorticoid metabolism. This enzyme is responsible for converting active cortisol into its inactive form, cortisone, which is essential for maintaining the balance of corticosteroids in the body. Dysregulation of HSD11B2 is associated with various metabolic disorders, hypertension, and the development of conditions like obesity and diabetes. Additionally, understanding the enzyme's function has implications in fetal development, as excessive cortisol can adversely affect the growth and health of the fetus. The production of recombinant HSD11B2 provides a valuable tool for studying its biochemical properties, regulatory mechanisms, and interactions with other factors involved in steroid metabolism. Researchers can utilize this protein in various assays to explore its potential as a therapeutic target and to develop drugs that can modulate its activity, offering promising avenues for treating related health issues. Thus, ongoing studies on HSD11B2 not only enhance our understanding of steroid hormone regulation but may also contribute to advancing therapeutic strategies for metabolic and endocrine disorders.
