Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
KTI12, a protein associated with the eukaryotic ribosome biogenesis process, plays a critical role in the maturation and assembly of ribosomal components. This protein has garnered attention due to its involvement in various cellular processes, including stress response and protein synthesis. Research indicates that KTI12 interacts with specific ribosomal proteins, facilitating the proper folding and assembly of ribosomal RNA and proteins into functional ribosomes. Furthermore, KTI12 has been identified as essential for the stability of ribosomal assembly intermediates, suggesting that it may act as a chaperone during ribosome maturation. Studies have also highlighted the potential implications of KTI12 dysfunction, as alterations in its expression or function can lead to defects in ribosome production, which are often linked to diseases such as cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. Understanding the mechanisms by which KTI12 contributes to ribosome biogenesis and the broader implications of its dysfunction is crucial for exploring new therapeutic strategies. Consequently, the study of KTI12 not only sheds light on fundamental biological processes but also opens avenues for potential clinical applications. Researchers are currently investigating the structural characteristics of KTI12, its interaction with other proteins, and its regulatory pathways to elucidate its role further in cell biology and disease.
