Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
KRT74, also known as keratin 74, is a member of the keratin family of proteins that are essential components of the cytoskeleton in epithelial cells. These proteins play a critical role in providing structural integrity, stability, and resilience to epithelial tissues, which are vital for various physiological processes. Research on KRT74 has gained attention due to its potential involvement in skin-related diseases and conditions, including keratinization disorders and cancer. Understanding the expression patterns and functional roles of KRT74 could shed light on the mechanisms underlying epidermal differentiation and pathology. Additionally, its expression may be linked to epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) processes, which are crucial in tumor progression and metastasis. Given the increasing prevalence of skin disorders and malignancies, elucidating the biological function of KRT74 through recombinant protein studies can pave the way for developing novel diagnostic and therapeutic strategies. Furthermore, exploring its interactions with other cellular proteins and signaling pathways may offer deeper insights into tissue homeostasis and regeneration. Overall, KRT74 serves as an important protein of interest in biomedical research, with implications ranging from basic science to potential clinical applications.
