Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
KRT72, or Keratin 72, is a member of the keratin family of proteins, which are critical components of the cytoskeleton in epithelial cells, providing structural integrity and resilience. Emerging research has highlighted the role of KRT72 in various physiological and pathological processes, particularly in skin and hair follicle development, cell differentiation, and the response to injury. Given its specific expression pattern in epithelial tissues, KRT72 has been implicated in certain skin disorders and forming a potential biomarker for tumor progression in epithelial cancers. The recombinant production of KRT72 offers a valuable tool for studying its biological functions, interactions, and regulatory mechanisms in vitro. Researchers aim to understand how KRT72 contributes to cellular processes such as proliferation and apoptosis, and its involvement in disease pathways. Additionally, recombinant KRT72 may facilitate the development of therapeutic strategies targeting keratin-related disorders, enabling innovations in regenerative medicine and cosmetic applications. The increased interest in keratins, including KRT72, underscores their potential as novel targets for diagnostic and therapeutic interventions in epithelial-related diseases.
