Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GSK, or GlaxoSmithKline, has been engaged in the research and development of recombinant proteins for several years, focusing on their potential as therapeutic agents. Recombinant proteins are produced by inserting the gene encoding a specific protein into host cells—such as bacteria, yeast, or mammalian cells—which then express the protein in significant quantities. This technology has revolutionized the production of biologics, including antibodies, hormones, and enzymes, enabling more precise and effective treatments for various diseases, including cancers, autoimmune disorders, and infectious diseases. GSK’s commitment to harnessing recombinant protein technology stems from the growing need for innovative therapeutics that go beyond traditional small molecule drugs, providing opportunities for targeted therapies with fewer side effects. The company has invested in advanced platforms and methodologies to enhance the yield, stability, and activity of these proteins, along with rigorous safety and efficacy assessments. Additionally, GSK collaborates with academic and industry partners to expedite the translation of research breakthroughs into clinical applications, thereby addressing unmet medical needs. The ongoing advancements in recombinant protein research at GSK underscore the importance of biopharmaceuticals in transforming patient care and improving health outcomes globally.
