Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
KLHL2 (Kelch-like protein 2) is a member of the BTB-Kelch family of proteins, known for their roles in various biological processes, including cell signaling, cytoskeleton organization, and protein degradation. Emerging research has indicated that KLHL2 may be involved in the regulation of the actin cytoskeleton and the ubiquitin-proteasome system, suggesting its critical role in maintaining cellular homeostasis. Dysfunctional KLHL2 has been linked to several diseases, particularly neurodegenerative disorders and cancers, where abnormal protein degradation can lead to pathological consequences. Moreover, studies have shown that KLHL2 can interact with various substrates, influencing cellular functions and survival under stress conditions. Due to its potential implications in disease mechanisms, KLHL2 has attracted significant interest for therapeutic targeting. Therefore, the production and study of recombinant KLHL2 protein are vital for elucidating its biochemical properties, understanding its interactions with other cellular components, and exploring its therapeutic potential in modulating cellular pathways. Research on KLHL2's structure-function relationship, its role in cellular processes, and its implications in disease contexts is critical for harnessing its potential in drug development and therapeutic interventions.
