Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
KIF9, a member of the kinesin superfamily of motor proteins, plays a crucial role in intracellular transport and is implicated in various cellular processes, including cell division, organelle positioning, and neuronal function. Recent studies have suggested that KIF9 may be involved in the transport of specific cargoes, contributing to cellular signaling and homeostasis. Given its potential relevance in health and disease, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, researchers have begun to explore the functional mechanisms of KIF9 at a molecular level. Recombinant KIF9 proteins are increasingly being produced and characterized to elucidate their biochemical properties, interaction partners, and regulatory mechanisms. By studying the KIF9 recombinant proteins, scientists aim to better understand how this motor protein operates within the cellular environment, how alterations in its function may lead to pathological states, and how it might serve as a potential therapeutic target. The ongoing investigation of KIF9 holds promise for advancing our knowledge of motor protein dynamics and their implications in various biological contexts, making it a significant focal point in cellular and molecular biology research.
