Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
LSM1 (Like Sm-like protein 1) is a crucial component of the mRNA degradation pathway and plays a significant role in regulating gene expression, RNA stability, and turnover. It is part of the LSM (Like Sm) protein family, which is characterized by its Sm-like domain, involved in binding to the 3' end of mRNA molecules. Research has shown that LSM1 interacts with various decay factors to promote the decapping and subsequent degradation of mRNA, thereby influencing cellular responses to stress and developmental processes. Studies also indicate that LSM1 may participate in the formation of mRNA processing bodies (P-bodies) and stress granules, contributing to the dynamic regulation of mRNA metabolism under different cellular conditions. Given its critical functions, LSM1 has become a focal point of investigations aimed at understanding the molecular mechanisms of RNA regulation and the implications of its dysregulation in diseases such as cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. The recombinant LSM1 protein is essential for structural and functional studies, enabling researchers to elucidate its role in mRNA decay and the potential therapeutic targets it may offer. Overall, the research on LSM1 and its recombinant forms holds significant promise in expanding our knowledge of RNA biology and its broader implications in cell regulation and disease dynamics.
