Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
LPCAT1 (Lysophosphatidylcholine Acyltransferase 1) is an enzyme that plays a crucial role in the metabolism of lysophosphatidylcholine, converting it into phosphatidylcholine, a key component of cell membranes. Research on LPCAT1 has gained significant attention due to its involvement in various physiological and pathological processes, including inflammation, lipid metabolism, and cancer progression. Dysregulation of LPCAT1 has been associated with multiple diseases, such as atherosclerosis, neurodegenerative disorders, and certain types of cancer, making it a potential therapeutic target. The use of recombinant LPCAT1 protein enables scientists to elucidate its functional mechanisms, investigate its role in cellular pathways, and assess its potential as a biomarker for disease. Furthermore, studying the enzyme in a controlled laboratory setting allows for the examination of its interactions with other cellular components, thereby enhancing our understanding of lipid metabolism and its implications in health and disease. Overall, LPCAT1 represents a promising avenue for research aimed at developing novel interventions for diseases linked to lipid dysregulation.
