Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
LIM domain protein 2 (LIMD2) is a pivotal member of the LIM protein family, characterized by its two LIM domains that facilitate protein-protein interactions and play a crucial role in regulating various cellular processes. Initial studies suggested that LIMD2 is involved in cell growth, differentiation, and survival, making it an important factor in development and cancer biology. Advances in molecular biology techniques have allowed researchers to explore the structure and function of LIMD2 more deeply. The protein's expression patterns have been linked to several types of cancers, indicating its potential as a biomarker for tumor progression. Furthermore, LIMD2 has been implicated in the modulation of signaling pathways, such as the Rho GTPase pathway, which is critical for cytoskeletal dynamics and cellular motility. Given its significant role in oncogenesis, the study of recombinant LIMD2 protein aims to elucidate its functional mechanisms and interactions, offering insights into its potential as a target for therapeutic intervention. Understanding LIMD2's molecular functions could enhance our comprehension of cancer development and progress, paving the way for innovative strategies in cancer treatment. Researchers are currently investigating the recombinant expression of LIMD2 in various systems to produce the protein in sufficient quantities for detailed structural and functional analyses, which could ultimately contribute to the development of novel anti-cancer therapies.
