Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SIGLEC9, or sialic acid-binding immunoglobulin-type lectin 9, is a member of the SIGLEC family of proteins that primarily recognize sialic acid-containing glycoconjugates. Research on SIGLEC9 has gained significant interest due to its implications in immune regulation and its potential role in various diseases, including cancer and autoimmune disorders. This receptor is predominantly expressed on immune cells such as macrophages, dendritic cells, and T cells, where it plays a critical role in modulating immune responses by regulating cell signaling pathways. Understanding the function and mechanisms of SIGLEC9 is essential for elucidating its contributions to immune tolerance and inflammation. Furthermore, recent studies have suggested that SIGLEC9 may serve as a therapeutic target, aiming to enhance or inhibit its activity to improve disease outcomes. The recombinant protein of SIGLEC9 allows for in-depth structural and functional studies, providing valuable insights into its binding interactions and signaling capabilities. This research is crucial for developing novel strategies in immunotherapy and for enhancing the understanding of sialic acid's role in immune modulation. Additionally, characterizing the recombinant SIGLEC9 protein can facilitate the exploration of its potential applications in diagnostics and treatment, paving the way for new therapeutic avenues that could benefit patients suffering from various immune-related conditions.
