Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
KLF4, or Kruppel-like factor 4, is a crucial transcription factor involved in various biological processes, including cell differentiation, proliferation, and maintaining pluripotency in stem cells. Its role in regulating gene expression makes it a significant focus of biological research, particularly in developmental biology and regenerative medicine. KLF4 is known to play a key role in the reprogramming of somatic cells into induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), making it a vital component in research related to cellular reprogramming and therapeutic applications. Additionally, KLF4 has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer, where it may function as a tumor suppressor or oncogene depending on the context. This dual role highlights the complexity of KLF4's function in cell biology. The development of recombinant KLF4 protein has facilitated in-depth studies of its structure, function, and interactions with other molecular partners. Researchers utilize KLF4 recombinant proteins to investigate its mechanism of action, potential binding partners, and downstream effects in cellular processes. Furthermore, understanding KLF4's role in pathological conditions could pave the way for novel therapeutic interventions, particularly in cancer therapy and regenerative medicine. Consequently, the study of KLF4, especially through the lens of recombinant protein technology, is a burgeoning field that promises to enhance our understanding of cellular mechanisms and contribute to the advancement of medical science.
