Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CYP102A1, a member of the cytochrome P450 family, is a key enzyme derived from the bacterium Bacillus subtilis, known for its ability to catalyze the oxidation of a wide range of organic compounds. Research into recombinant CYP102A1 has gained momentum due to its potential applications in biocatalysis, drug metabolism, and environmental bioremediation. This enzyme exhibits remarkable stability and versatility, making it an attractive candidate for industrial applications, such as the synthesis of pharmaceutical intermediates and fine chemicals. Additionally, its ability to oxidize non-activated hydrocarbons under mild conditions presents opportunities for green chemistry and sustainable processes. The understanding of CYP102A1's structure-function relationship through site-directed mutagenesis and protein engineering has led to the development of variants with enhanced activity and selectivity. Moreover, recombinant protein expression systems have been optimized to produce CYP102A1 in significant quantities, facilitating detailed studies of its catalytic mechanisms and interactions with substrates. This burgeoning research area is not only advancing our comprehension of P450 enzymology but also driving innovations in biotechnological applications, positioning CYP102A1 as a pivotal enzyme in the future of biocatalysis and synthetic biology.
