Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
KLF12, a member of the Kruppel-like factor (KLF) family of transcription factors, plays a critical role in various biological processes, including cell differentiation, proliferation, and apoptosis. Its expression is particularly prominent in developing tissues and is implicated in several physiological and pathological conditions. Research has demonstrated that KLF12 influences gene expression by binding to specific DNA sequences, thereby regulating pathways involved in tissue development and responses to environmental signals. The dysregulation of KLF12 has been associated with various diseases, including cancer, where it may act as a tumor suppressor or, conversely, as an oncogene depending on the cellular context. The development of recombinant KLF12 protein has allowed researchers to explore its functional mechanisms in detail, providing insights into its structural characteristics, interaction with other proteins, and effects on gene regulation. This recombinant protein serves as a valuable tool for studying the signaling pathways involving KLF12 and evaluating its potential as a therapeutic target. By understanding KLF12's roles at the molecular level, researchers aim to uncover its contribution to health and disease, paving the way for novel treatments based on modulation of its activity.
