Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
KCNAB3, a member of the potassium channel family, encodes the beta subunit of voltage-gated potassium channels, which play crucial roles in regulating neuronal excitability and muscle contraction. Studies have shown that the KCNAB3 protein modulates the function and kinetics of the alpha subunits, contributing to the diverse physiological processes mediated by potassium channels. Understanding the structure and function of KCNAB3 is vital, as dysregulation of potassium channels has been implicated in various diseases, including epilepsy, arrhythmias, and other channelopathies. Recent advancements in recombinant protein technology have facilitated the production and characterization of KCNAB3, allowing researchers to explore its interactions with alpha subunits and other cellular proteins. This research not only elucidates the molecular mechanisms underlying potassium channel function but also holds therapeutic potential in drug development for conditions associated with ion channel dysfunction. Overall, the investigation of KCNAB3 recombinant protein is essential for advancing our understanding of potassium channel physiology and pathology.
