Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ITM1 (Integral Membrane Protein 1) is a protein located in the endoplasmic reticulum and is implicated in various cellular processes, including protein folding and quality control. Research into ITM1 has escalated due to its potential role in diseases, particularly in cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. The abnormal expression of ITM1 has been linked to tumor progression, suggesting its involvement in cell proliferation and survival pathways. Furthermore, ITM1's interaction with other proteins in the endoplasmic reticulum underscores its significance in maintaining cellular homeostasis. Recent advancements in recombinant protein technology have allowed for the production of ITM1 as a research tool, enabling scientists to investigate its structural and functional characteristics in detail. By generating recombinant ITM1 proteins, researchers can explore their biological functions, interaction networks, and potential as therapeutic targets. The study of ITM1 not only contributes to our understanding of fundamental cellular mechanisms but also paves the way for developing novel therapeutic strategies for conditions associated with its dysregulation. As the field progresses, ongoing research aims to elucidate the precise roles of ITM1 in health and disease, further highlighting the importance of this protein in modern biomedical science.
