Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The study of IGJ (Immunoglobulin J chain) recombinant protein emerged from the need to better understand its crucial role in the immune system, particularly in the formation of polymeric immunoglobulins, such as IgA and IgM. IGJ serves as a key component that facilitates the assembly and transport of these antibodies across mucosal surfaces, significantly influencing mucosal immunity. Research has shown that the J chain is critical for the secretion of these antibodies, as it promotes their polymerization and aids in their binding to the secretory component, allowing for effective transport through epithelial cells. Given the importance of mucosal immunity in various diseases, including infections and allergies, the recombinant production of IGJ aims to provide insights into its structure, function, and potential therapeutic applications. This includes the development of vaccines and immunotherapeutics that can enhance immune responses. Moreover, advancing recombinant technology enables the engineering of IGJ to better understand its interactions with other immunoglobulins and its regulatory mechanisms. Overall, the research on IGJ recombinant protein is essential not only for elucidating the fundamental aspects of immune responses but also for developing innovative strategies to combat various immunological disorders.
