Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Insulin-like growth factor-binding protein 7 (IGFBP7) is a member of the IGFBP family that plays a crucial role in regulating the activity of insulin-like growth factors (IGFs), which are important for cell growth, development, and survival. Unlike other IGFBPs, IGFBP7 has been implicated in various biological processes beyond IGF signaling, including apoptosis, cell migration, and tumor suppression. Research indicates that IGFBP7 exhibits both pro-apoptotic and anti-tumorigenic properties, making it a potential biomarker and therapeutic target in cancer treatment. Notably, altered expression of IGFBP7 has been observed in several malignancies, suggesting its involvement in tumorigenesis and metastasis. The recombinant protein of IGFBP7 is particularly valuable in experimental studies, allowing researchers to investigate its biochemical properties, signaling pathways, and functional roles in various cellular contexts. Understanding the mechanisms by which IGFBP7 exerts its effects could pave the way for novel therapeutic strategies in oncology and regenerative medicine. Furthermore, recent studies have highlighted its potential in influencing the tumor microenvironment and immune response, further underlining its importance in cancer biology. As a result, ongoing research efforts are focused on harnessing the potential of IGFBP7 for clinical applications, offering hope for improved diagnostic and therapeutic approaches in cancer management.
