Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
IDI1 (Isoprenoid Biosynthesis Transporter 1) is an enzyme that plays a critical role in the mevalonate pathway, which is essential for the biosynthesis of isoprenoids. Isoprenoids are a diverse class of naturally occurring compounds that include terpenes, steroids, and vitamins, having important biological functions and industrial applications. Research on IDI1 has gained momentum due to its potential implications in various fields, such as medicine, agriculture, and bioenergy. Specifically, IDI1 is crucial for the synthesis of isoprenoids that are involved in plant growth, development, and stress responses. Understanding the molecular mechanisms and regulatory networks governing IDI1 expression and activity can pave the way for biotechnological interventions to enhance crop resilience and yield. Moreover, IDI1 has been implicated in human health, as it may influence the production of cholesterol and other metabolites, thus linking it to various metabolic disorders. Recombinant protein studies of IDI1 are vital for elucidating its structure-function relationship, providing insights into its catalytic mechanisms, and enabling the development of inhibitors that could serve as therapeutic agents. The study of IDI1 through recombinant protein techniques not only advances our fundamental understanding of isoprenoid biosynthesis but also fosters the potential for engineering metabolic pathways for the sustainable production of valuable compounds. Overall, the research on IDI1 recombinant protein holds significant promise for advancing our knowledge of biochemistry and improving agricultural and medical applications.
