Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
IQUB (Inhibitor of Quorum Sensing in Bacteria) is a significant focus of research due to its potential role in regulating animal and plant immunity against bacterial pathogens. The understanding of IQUB and its associated proteins is crucial, as they are involved in bacterial quorum sensing, a communication process that enables bacteria to coordinate their behavior based on population density. This mechanism influences biofilm formation, virulence, and resistance to antibiotics, making it a critical target for developing new antimicrobial strategies. Recent studies have highlighted the therapeutic potential of modulating IQUB activity, suggesting it could serve as a promising candidate for preventing bacterial infections. As antibiotic resistance becomes a growing concern globally, the exploration of IQUB and its applications in biotechnology and medicine could pave the way for innovative approaches in managing bacterial diseases while minimizing the use of traditional antibiotics. Research efforts are increasingly directed towards characterizing the structural and functional properties of IQUB proteins, as well as their interactions within bacterial systems, to harness their capabilities for enhancing host defenses and developing novel antimicrobial agents.
