Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The IQCK protein, known as IQ calmodulin-binding protein kinase, has garnered significant interest in the field of molecular biology and biochemistry due to its potential role in various cellular processes. Identified as a member of the IQ-motif-containing protein kinase family, IQCK is characterized by its interaction with calmodulin, a calcium-binding messenger protein, which suggests its involvement in calcium signaling pathways. Studies indicate that IQCK may play a crucial role in neuronal function, muscle contraction, and various signaling cascades that regulate cellular growth and differentiation. The reconstitution and characterization of IQCK as a recombinant protein have been pivotal in elucidating its structure-function relationships and enzymatic activity. Understanding IQCK's mechanisms of action can provide insights into its involvement in disease states, including certain cancers and neurodegenerative disorders. Moreover, the ability to produce this protein in a recombinant form allows for detailed biochemical assays, structural studies, and potential therapeutic developments. Research into IQCK not only enhances our understanding of calcium-mediated signaling but also opens avenues for exploring its therapeutic potentials in modulating related pathophysiological conditions. The ongoing investigations into IQCK's biological roles emphasize its significance as a target for drug development and as a biomarker for specific diseases, highlighting the need for continued research in this domain.
