Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Interleukin-3 (IL-3) is a multi-functional cytokine that plays a critical role in hematopoiesis by promoting the differentiation and proliferation of various blood cell lineages, particularly within the erythroid and myeloid lineages. Its ability to stimulate the growth of progenitor cells makes IL-3 essential in both normal physiological processes and in the pathophysiology of several hematological disorders. Given its pivotal role in immune response and its involvement in conditions such as leukemia, researchers have focused on producing recombinant IL-3 for therapeutic applications and further understanding its mechanisms of action. The generation of recombinant IL-3 has allowed for detailed studies on its signaling pathways, receptor interactions, and potential as a biotherapeutic agent. Additionally, IL-3 is often used in combination with other cytokines to enhance stem cell culture and improve outcomes in cell-based therapies. Studies involving IL-3 also highlight its potential in regenerative medicine, particularly in scenarios requiring hematopoietic recovery. The ongoing exploration of IL-3’s applications underscores its importance in both basic and applied biomedical research, providing insights into immune regulation and novel treatment strategies for various diseases.
