Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ING5 (Inhibitor of Growth Protein 5) is a member of the ING family of proteins, which are known for their roles in regulating cellular processes such as apoptosis, cell cycle progression, and transcriptional regulation. Research into ING5 has gained significance due to its potential implications in cancer biology. Studies have shown that ING5 functions as a tumor suppressor, with downregulation or loss of ING5 expression being associated with various tumors. The protein is known to interact with key cellular pathways, including those involving histone acetylation and chromatin remodeling, which are critical for gene expression regulation. Moreover, ING5 has been implicated in DNA damage response mechanisms, providing it with a vital role in maintaining genomic stability. Understanding the molecular mechanisms by which ING5 operates may offer insights into its potential as a therapeutic target or biomarker in cancer treatment. By elucidating the pathways and interactions of ING5, researchers aim to uncover novel strategies for combating tumorigenesis and improving patient outcomes in cancer therapy. Ongoing studies are examining the functional roles of ING5 in different cancer types, its interaction with other oncogenic and tumor-suppressive factors, and its potential influence on therapeutic resistance. These investigations are pivotal in framing ING5 not just as a candidate for targeted therapies but also as a key player in the broader landscape of cancer research.
