Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
IL-20, a member of the interleukin-10 (IL-10) family of cytokines, plays a crucial role in the regulation of immune responses and inflammation. It is primarily produced by activated macrophages and keratinocytes, and is involved in various physiological and pathological processes, including skin disorders such as psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, and inflammatory bowel diseases. The significance of IL-20 is underscored by its ability to promote keratinocyte proliferation and differentiation, as well as its involvement in the inflammatory pathways that can exacerbate chronic conditions. Given its pivotal role in mediating inflammatory responses, researchers have focused on recombinant IL-20 proteins to investigate their therapeutic potential. Developing recombinant IL-20 allows for studying its biological functions more extensively and exploring its role in disease mechanisms. Moreover, IL-20's interaction with its receptors, IL-20R1 and IL-20R2, opens avenues for targeted treatments aimed at modulating immune responses in various inflammatory diseases. Understanding the structure-function relationship of IL-20 through recombinant technology can lead to innovative strategies for developing new therapies that either inhibit its action to reduce inflammation or utilize its effects to promote wound healing. As research progresses, recombinant IL-20 is poised to play a significant role in advancing our approach to treating immune-mediated diseases and improving patient outcomes.
