  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

IFNE1, or Interferon epsilon 1, is a member of the interferon family that plays a critical role in the innate immune response. Research into IFNE1 has gained traction due to its unique ability to exert antiviral effects and modulate immune responses in various cell types. Unlike other interferons, IFNE1 is primarily expressed in epithelial tissues, suggesting a specialized function in mucosal immunity and defense against viral infections. Studies indicate that IFNE1 may have therapeutic potential in treating viral diseases and enhancing vaccine efficacy due to its potent immunomodulatory properties. Investigating IFNE1 as a recombinant protein allows researchers to better understand its mechanisms of action, biological activity, and potential applications in immunotherapy. By elucidating the functional roles of IFNE1 in immune modulation and viral defense, scientists aim to explore its use in clinical settings, particularly for conditions where traditional interferons may have limited efficacy. This research is pivotal, as it can lead to the development of novel antiviral strategies and improve our understanding of the immune system’s responses to pathogens. Overall, the study of IFNE1 recombinant proteins represents a promising frontier in immunology and infectious disease treatment.
