稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ZIC2 (Zinc Finger Protein of the Cerebellum 2) is a critical transcription factor that plays a significant role in the development of the central nervous system, particularly in the formation of the cerebellum and midbrain. Its involvement in various biological processes has made it a focal point of research in developmental biology and neurogenetics. Mutations or aberrant expression of ZIC2 are associated with several neurological disorders, including holoprosencephaly and other congenital brain malformations. Furthermore, ZIC2 has been implicated in neural stem cell maintenance and differentiation, highlighting its potential as a target for therapeutic interventions in neurodevelopmental disorders. In the context of these studies, the production of recombinant ZIC2 protein is essential for elucidating its functional mechanisms and interactions with other cellular factors. By generating ZIC2 as a recombinant protein, researchers can perform in vitro assays to investigate its DNA-binding properties, regulatory functions, and interactions within signaling pathways. This understanding can provide insights into its role in both normal brain development and in pathological conditions, opening avenues for novel strategies in treating related diseases. Overall, the study of ZIC2 through recombinant protein expression is pivotal to advancing our knowledge of neurodevelopmental processes and developing potential clinical applications.
