Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
HTRA3 (high temperature requirement A3) is a serine protease belonging to the HTRA family, which has garnered significant attention in recent years due to its role in various physiological and pathological processes. Initially identified for its function in protein quality control and stress response mechanisms, HTRA3 is now implicated in diverse biological activities, including cell proliferation, apoptosis, and extracellular matrix remodeling. Research highlights its involvement in cancer biology, particularly in tumor suppression, as alterations in HTRA3 expression are associated with various malignancies, including breast and prostate cancers. Beyond oncology, HTRA3 has been linked to fibrotic diseases and neurodegenerative disorders, indicating its potential as a biomarker and therapeutic target. The complexity of HTRA3 functions arises from its ability to interact with multiple substrates and signaling pathways, making it a critical player in maintaining cellular homeostasis. These insights have driven researchers to explore recombinant HTRA3 protein for further elucidation of its mechanisms of action, structural characterization, and therapeutic applications. The production of HTRA3 in recombinant systems allows for detailed functional assays, contributing to a better understanding of its role in human health and disease. Consequently, HTRA3 research holds promise for unveiling novel strategies in disease intervention and the development of targeted therapies.
