Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The OR5AL1 gene, part of the olfactory receptor family, encodes a protein implicated in the detection of specific odorant molecules. Its research has gained significant interest due to the potential roles olfactory receptors play beyond the olfactory system, including their involvement in various physiological processes and disease states. Understanding OR5AL1's structure and function can provide insights into its mechanisms of action and interactions with ligands. This knowledge is crucial for developing novel therapeutic strategies, particularly in conditions related to sensory perception and neurodegenerative diseases. The recombinant protein production of OR5AL1 facilitates studies on its biochemical properties, allowing researchers to elucidate the signaling pathways and networks in which it participates. Consequently, OR5AL1 serves as a promising target for scientific inquiries aimed at exploring the broader implications of olfactory receptors in human health and disease, paving the way for innovative approaches in medical research and potential therapeutic applications.
