Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GREM2, or Gremlin 2, is a member of the bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) antagonist family, playing a significant role in various biological processes, including embryonic development, tissue homeostasis, and repair mechanisms. Elevated GREM2 expression has been implicated in several pathological conditions, particularly in cancer, where it may facilitate tumor progression and metastasis by modulating the tumor microenvironment. Additionally, GREM2 has been linked to fibrotic diseases and is believed to influence the differentiation of mesenchymal stem cells. Research on recombinant GREM2 protein has garnered attention for its potential therapeutic applications, including its ability to mediate BMP signaling pathways. By producing and characterizing this protein, researchers aim to elucidate its functional properties and interactions with other proteins in the BMP signaling cascade, which may lead to novel approaches for treating diseases characterized by aberrant BMP signaling. Understanding GREM2's mechanistic roles not only enhances our grasp of developmental biology but also opens new avenues for therapeutic intervention in cancers and fibrotic diseases. Thus, the study of GREM2 recombinant protein is pivotal for developing targeted strategies that leverage its molecular functions in both basic and applied biomedical research.
