Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The HAUS5 protein is a crucial component of the HAUS (Haploinsufficient for APC and UBE3A) complex, which plays a significant role in the assembly and stability of the microtubule organizing centers during cell division. This complex is integral to the proper function of spindle dynamics and chromosome segregation, making it essential for accurate mitosis and maintaining genomic integrity. Recent studies have underscored the importance of HAUS5 in the regulation of the microtubule network, highlighting its potential impact on various cellular processes, including cell proliferation and differentiation. Dysregulation of HAUS5 has been implicated in various cancers, where aberrant cell division leads to tumor development and progression. As such, understanding the structure, function, and regulatory mechanisms of HAUS5 can provide valuable insights into its role in oncogenesis and may offer novel therapeutic targets for cancer treatment. Researchers are now focusing on the characterization of HAUS5 through biochemical and structural biology approaches to elucidate its interactions with other molecules within the HAUS complex, paving the way for future studies aimed at developing targeted therapies that could mitigate the effects of its dysregulation in disease contexts.
