Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MYH6, encoding the cardiac muscle myosin heavy chain, plays a critical role in heart function and integrity. Mutations in the MYH6 gene have been linked to various cardiomyopathies, leading to heart failure and other cardiovascular diseases. The study of MYH6 recombinant proteins is essential for understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying these conditions. By expressing and purifying MYH6 recombinant proteins, researchers can investigate the structural and functional properties of the myosin heavy chain and its interactions with other cardiac proteins. This work not only helps elucidate the pathophysiology of MYH6-related diseases but also aids in the development of potential therapeutic strategies. Recombinant MYH6 proteins can be used in various assays, including enzyme activity and binding studies, to assess the effects of specific mutations and pharmacological agents, thereby providing insights into disease mechanisms. Furthermore, these studies can facilitate the identification of novel biomarkers for early diagnosis and the development of targeted therapies that may restore normal myosin function in affected individuals. Overall, research on MYH6 recombinant proteins is pivotal in advancing our understanding of cardiac physiology and pathology, ultimately contributing to improved strategies for managing heart diseases linked to MYH6 mutations.
