Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GTPBP4, or GTP binding protein 4, is a member of the GTPase superfamily, which plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, including signal transduction, protein synthesis, and cell differentiation. Recent studies have highlighted its involvement in the regulation of mitochondrial function and its potential implications in several diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders and cancer. The unique GTPase activity of GTPBP4, alongside its ability to interact with other proteins, suggests that it may have critical roles in cellular homeostasis and stress responses. Given the complexities of its function and the potential for therapeutic applications, the recombinant expression of GTPBP4 is vital for elucidating its biochemical properties and cellular mechanisms. Researchers aim to produce high-purity GTPBP4 recombinant protein to study its structural characteristics, binding interactions, and functional assays, which could lead to a deeper understanding of its role in health and disease. Such insights may ultimately pave the way for developing targeted treatments that leverage the unique properties of GTPBP4 in various pathological contexts.
