Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
STR1, or Striatin 1, is a member of the striatin family of proteins, which are known for their roles in various cellular processes, including signal transduction and cytoskeletal organization. Research on STR1 has gained momentum due to its implications in neurobiology and its potential links to neurological disorders, such as schizophrenia and autism spectrum disorders. STR1 is predominantly expressed in the brain, particularly in regions involved in cognitive functions, making it a focus of interest for understanding synaptic plasticity and neuronal communication. Recent studies have highlighted its role in modulating protein interactions and signaling pathways, particularly in relation to the postsynaptic density and intracellular calcium signaling. The recombinant expression of STR1 protein allows for an in-depth study of its structure-function relationships, facilitating the investigation of its biological roles and potential as a therapeutic target. As scientists continue to uncover the complexities of STR1, it promises to provide insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative diseases, offering new avenues for both basic and applied research in neurobiology.
