Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MACC1 (Metastasis-Associated in Colon Cancer 1) is a gene that has garnered significant interest due to its role in cancer biology, particularly in colorectal cancer (CRC). Identified as a crucial regulator of cellular processes such as proliferation, invasion, and metastasis, MACC1 is often overexpressed in various tumors, correlating with aggressive disease phenotypes and poor patient outcomes. Research has demonstrated that MACC1 influences the expression of hepatocyte growth factor (HGF), which is pivotal for tumor growth and metastasis. Given its pronounced impact on cancer progression, the development of MACC1 recombinant proteins serves multiple purposes: it aids in elucidating the molecular mechanisms of cancer metastasis, provides a potential biomarker for early diagnosis and prognosis, and sets the stage for novel therapeutic strategies. By studying MACC1 in detail, scientists aim to unravel its complex role in tumor biology and explore its potential as a target for intervention in cancer treatment. The research on MACC1 recombinant proteins also facilitates the understanding of protein interactions and signaling pathways, which can lead to innovative approaches tailored to disrupt metastasis and improve treatment outcomes for cancer patients.
