Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
KRT7, or Keratin 7, is a member of the keratin family of proteins that play a crucial role in maintaining the structural integrity of epithelial cells. It is primarily expressed in simple epithelial tissues such as those found in the respiratory, gastrointestinal, and genitourinary tracts. KRT7 has garnered significant interest in biomedical research due to its association with various pathological conditions, including cancers, fibrotic diseases, and autoimmune disorders. The expression of KRT7 can serve as a critical biomarker for certain tumors, aiding in their diagnosis and prognosis. The study of KRT7 recombinant proteins has advanced our understanding of its functional roles and interactions within cells, enabling the exploration of therapeutic avenues aimed at modulating its activity. Furthermore, insights gained from KRT7 research have implications for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, as this protein is essential for maintaining the mechanical properties of tissues. As researchers continue to unravel the complexities of KRT7's functions, its potential applications in targeted therapies and diagnostic tools are becoming increasingly evident, highlighting the protein's significance in both health and disease.
