Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ITM2A (Integral Membrane Protein 2A) is a member of the integral membrane protein family, characterized by its significant roles in various cellular processes, including cell adhesion, signal transduction, and ion homeostasis. Its involvement in cellular mechanisms is particularly notable in the context of neurodevelopment and pathologies, such as Alzheimer's disease, where ITM2A has been implicated in modulating amyloid precursor protein processing. Research on ITM2A recombinant protein focuses on elucidating its structure-function relationship, understanding its interactions with other biomolecules, and exploring its potential therapeutic applications. By producing and characterizing ITM2A as a recombinant protein, scientists can investigate its role in cellular dynamics and how alterations in its expression or function contribute to disease mechanisms. Additionally, recombinant ITM2A can serve as a valuable tool for drug discovery, enabling high-throughput screening of compounds that may target or modulate its activity. The insights gained from these studies may ultimately lead to the development of novel therapeutic strategies for diseases associated with ITM2A dysregulation.
