Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GPR77, also known as the C5a receptor, is a G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) that plays a crucial role in the immune response and inflammation. Its activation is primarily associated with anaphylatoxins, such as C5a, which are generated during the complement cascade and contribute to various pathophysiological conditions, including autoimmune diseases, sepsis, and chronic inflammatory disorders. Research has shown that GPR77 mediates a variety of cellular responses, including chemotaxis, proliferation, and cytokine release, making it a significant target for therapeutic intervention. The development of recombinant GPR77 proteins is essential for elucidating its structure-function relationships and signaling mechanisms. These proteins enable researchers to analyze GPR77's binding affinities, activation pathways, and downstream effects in a controlled environment, assisting in the design of selective modulators. Given the receptor's involvement in significant health issues, understanding GPR77 at the molecular level could pave the way for new treatments aimed at modulating immune responses and alleviating inflammation. Thus, the study of GPR77 recombinant proteins represents a vital step toward advancing our knowledge of GPCR biology and its implications for drug discovery and therapeutic development.
