Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GPR156, a member of the G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) family, has garnered increasing attention in recent years due to its potential roles in various physiological and pathological processes. Originally identified as a receptor for specific endogenous ligands, GPR156 is expressed in several tissues, including the brain, where it may be involved in neuronal signaling and development. Its expression patterns suggest implications in neurological disorders, making it a candidate for therapeutic exploration. Research has shown that GPR156 can influence cellular pathways linked to mental health and cognitive functions, prompting scientists to investigate its specific signaling mechanisms and interactions with other proteins. By studying GPR156 recombinant proteins, researchers aim to elucidate its structure-function relationships, identify potential ligands, and develop targeted drugs that could modulate its activity. Understanding GPR156 at a molecular level could pave the way for novel treatments for conditions such as depression, anxiety, and other neuropsychiatric disorders, highlighting the significance of this receptor in both basic and applied biomedical research.
