Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GOLGA6A, a member of the Golgin family of proteins, plays a crucial role in maintaining the structure and function of the Golgi apparatus, a vital organelle involved in protein processing and trafficking. Recent studies have indicated that GOLGA6A is not only essential for the organization of the Golgi but also implicated in various cellular processes, including apoptosis and intracellular transport. Its aberrant expression has been linked to several diseases, including cancers and neurodegenerative disorders, highlighting its potential as a biomarker and therapeutic target. The study of GOLGA6A recombination proteins offers valuable insights into the structure-function relationships of Golgins and their role in cellular homeostasis. By utilizing recombinant DNA technology, researchers can produce GOLGA6A in large quantities, facilitating functional assays and structural analysis. This approach aims to elucidate the mechanisms by which GOLGA6A contributes to Golgi dynamics and cellular signaling pathways. Understanding these processes at a molecular level could provide novel insights into disease mechanisms and inform the development of targeted therapies. Additionally, the exploration of GOLGA6A as a potential candidate for gene therapy or as a target for small molecules underscores its relevance in current biomedical research. Overall, the investigation of GOLGA6A recombination proteins represents a promising avenue for advancing our understanding of Golgi-related diseases and enhancing therapeutic strategies.
