Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CSN1 (Casein Alpha S1) recombinant protein has gained significant attention in the fields of biochemistry and biotechnology due to its crucial role in the dairy industry and potential health benefits. Caseins are a family of related phosphoproteins predominantly found in mammalian milk, accounting for about 80% of proteins in cow's milk. CSN1 specifically contributes to the nutritional value of dairy products, affecting their texture, flavor, and processing properties. The recombinant production of CSN1 offers advantages over traditional extraction methods, including enhanced yield, purity, and the ability to study its specific functions in vitro. Moreover, recombinant CSN1 can be utilized in developing functional foods and nutraceuticals, targeting improved calcium absorption and promoting gut health. There is also growing interest in its potential applications in dairy-free alternatives and food technology, as well as for use in clinical settings to explore its immunomodulatory properties. Therefore, the study of CSN1 recombinant protein is not only pivotal for understanding its biochemical characteristics but also for harnessing its applications in food science and nutrition. As advancements in genetic engineering and expression systems continue, the production and functional analysis of CSN1 will likely lead to innovative solutions in health and dietary fields.
