Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ELOB, or Elongin B, is part of a regulatory complex involved in the elongation phase of transcription, playing a crucial role in gene expression modulation. Its study is rooted in the understanding of transcriptional regulation mechanisms, which are vital for numerous biological processes, including cell differentiation, development, and responses to environmental stimuli. The ELOB protein acts in conjunction with Elongin C and other components to facilitate the function of RNA polymerase II, ensuring proper transcription elongation. Disruptions in ELOB function have been linked to various diseases, including certain cancers, highlighting its importance in maintaining cellular homeostasis. Consequently, researchers have focused on elucidating the structural and functional properties of ELOB, aiming to understand its interactions within the elongation complex and its broader implications in transcription regulation. Investigating ELOB not only provides insights into the fundamental aspects of gene expression but also opens up potential avenues for therapeutic interventions in diseases associated with transcriptional dysregulation.
