Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PPP1R15A, also known as Protein Phosphatase 1 Regulatory Subunit 15A, plays a crucial role in the regulation of protein phosphatase 1 (PP1), a key enzyme involved in various cellular processes, including cell division, muscle contraction, and metabolic regulation. The research on PPP1R15A has gained significant attention due to its involvement in stress response pathways, particularly the integrated stress response (ISR), which is crucial for cellular adaptation to environmental changes. Under stress conditions, the phosphorylation of eIF2α leads to the activation of PPP1R15A, which, in turn, regulates PP1 activity, facilitating the dephosphorylation of numerous substrates involved in translational control and cell survival. Dysregulation of PPP1R15A has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target. The characterization and production of recombinant PPP1R15A protein are essential for elucidating its structural and functional properties, enabling researchers to understand its role in cellular signaling pathways better. Advances in recombinant DNA technology have made it possible to produce high yields of purified PPP1R15A, facilitating biochemical assays and structural studies that can pave the way for drug discovery and design. Understanding the mechanistic basis of PPP1R15A's function could provide insights into the development of novel therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating its activity in disease states.
