Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PLSCR2, or Phospholipid Scramblase 2, is an important protein involved in various cellular processes, including apoptosis, cell membrane dynamics, and immune response. Research into PLSCR2 has gained momentum due to its role in facilitating phospholipid translocation across the plasma membrane, which is crucial in events such as blood coagulation and cell signaling. Increased expression of PLSCR2 has been associated with certain cancers, indicating its potential as a biomarker and therapeutic target. Moreover, PLSCR2 is known to interact with other proteins and lipids, influencing cellular functions. Understanding the structural and functional properties of PLSCR2 through recombinant protein studies can provide insights into its mechanism of action and regulatory pathways, paving the way for innovative therapeutic strategies in diseases where PLSCR2 is implicated. As a result, the characterization of PLSCR2 as a recombinant protein offers possibilities for drug discovery and development, as well as a deeper understanding of its biological roles and interactions in health and disease.
