Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CTPS1, or Cytidine Triphosphate Synthase 1, is an essential enzyme involved in the de novo synthesis of pyrimidine nucleotides, which are critical for DNA and RNA synthesis, as well as cellular proliferation and metabolism. The enzyme catalyzes the conversion of uridine triphosphate (UTP) from orotate through an ATP-dependent process. Dysregulation of CTPS1 has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer, where its overexpression can promote cell proliferation and contribute to tumorigenesis. Research on recombinant CTPS1 protein focuses on understanding its structural and functional properties, as well as its regulatory mechanisms, which could provide insights into its role in normal cellular processes and disease states. Additionally, CTPS1 has emerged as a potential therapeutic target, making its study significant for developing novel treatments for malignancies and other conditions associated with nucleotide metabolism disorders. Recent advancements in recombinant DNA technology have enabled the production of CTPS1 in significant quantities, facilitating extensive biochemical and pharmacological studies. Understanding the dynamics of CTPS1 activity, its interactions with other biomolecules, and its regulation by various intracellular signals is crucial for uncovering its potential as a drug target and for designing effective inhibitors that could improve therapeutic strategies against diseases with an aberrant nucleotide metabolism.
