  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

EAF1 (Elongator Adapter Protein 1) is a crucial component of the elongator complex, which plays a vital role in the regulation of RNA polymerase II transcription and the modification of tRNAs. The study of EAF1 recombinant proteins has gained significant attention due to its involvement in various cellular processes and its implications in human diseases, including cancer. Research has indicated that EAF1 interacts with several transcription factors and might influence gene expression patterns that are essential for cellular growth and differentiation. Moreover, abnormal expression or mutations in EAF1 have been linked to neurological disorders and other pathologies. The ability to produce recombinant EAF1 proteins allows scientists to investigate their structure-function relationships, elucidate their biological roles, and explore potential therapeutic applications. This research also paves the way for understanding how EAF1 contributes to the overall complexity of gene regulation and RNA processing in eukaryotic organisms. Thus, the recombinant expression of EAF1 serves as a pivotal tool in molecular biology, providing insights into its function and relevance in health and disease, and opening avenues for targeted interventions in disorders associated with elongator complex dysfunction.
